And because I need a distraction from the two fic exchange assignments I'm working on at the moment, let's do this again:
Rules:
I've made a list of fifteen (15) characters from a variety of fandoms. Your job is to ask questions about various combinations of these characters (examples: What secret past do #8 and #14 share? What if #2, #6, and #9 went on a road trip? If #5 and #10 were having dinner, who invited who?), which I'll do my best to answer.
Once we've accumulated sufficient questions, I'll compile the results and make a new post or posts incorporating all the Qs and As. (Many ages ago by 'Net time, the answers were given in comments to the questions in the original post, but that was long ago and far away, and nowadays the new post means that everyone sees all the answers at once, and no one besides me has to backtrail through a reading-page to find the original meme.)
Notes:
Different practitioners of this meme make different sorts of lists. My approach tends to involve recruiting from as many different sources as I can possibly manage. Thus, queries are extremely likely to produce Improbable Crossover Theater for various - and sometimes really weird - values of "improbable". Management will do its best to respond to all queries posed, but reserves the right to designate some results Just Too Bizarre To Contemplate.
[Also: why, yes, if anyone else is inclined to start one of these going, I will happily wade in....]

Date: November 13th, 2023 04:13 pm (UTC)Anyway, have a few scenarios:
1 finds 2's lost wallet. (Or, um, some other object featuring personal identification, if 2 doesn't have a wallet.) Does 1 return it? Do they keep any money inside? Does 2 offer a reward and if so does 1 take it? And how did 1 lose their wallet in the first place, anyway?
6 writes 9 a fan letter. What does it say? How does 9 feel about it, and do they respond?
11 is now Emperor of the World! What is the first policy they enact? Should the world be worried? Do 3, 7, and 12 need to team up to overthrow them, and if so, can they manage it?

Date: November 16th, 2023 10:20 am (UTC)2 and 7 wake up handcuffed together, in an apparently sealed chamber. Which odd-numbered character will release the hungry tiger into the room 30 minutes from now, and which even-numbered character will turn up to rescue the prisoners?
3 recruits 9 and 13 - separately - to acquire a valuable artifact which is in 12's possession by any means necessary. Who will actually get the job done , how badly will the competing agents get in each other's way, and who (if any) of the quartet will find themselves under arrest before the caper is complete?
1, 6, and 11 are marooned together on an uninhabited tropical island with minimal survival gear, no personal electronics whatsoever - and just to be annoying, something is blocking both teleportation magic and transporter technology. How long does it take for the trio to escape, or do they settle down permanently - and what romantic partnership, if any, results from the adventure?
10 and 15 run into each other purely by chance, and strike up a relationship - platonic or otherwise, your choice. Six months later, they are together when they encounter 7, with whom each of them has a strong (but previously unrevealed) past connection - again, possibly platonic, possibly not. Once the three have finished comparing notes, is there a disastrous breakup, a steamy three-way sex marathon, a friendly evening of mutual reminiscence, or some combination of the foregoing - and who ends up leaving with whom?

Date: January 31st, 2024 03:25 am (UTC)9, 7, and 13 are roommates. How's that going for them?
13 met 10 once and never again. The experience was life-changing. What happened?
12 found 1 crying and tried to comfort them. Did it help, or did it just make things worse?
(Numbers generated via my trusty d20. No, I don't know why it kept rolling 13s.)
