Summary: There were certain roles Martha Rodgers had taken to omitting from her resume, in hopes that eventually the world would forget about the relevant performances. But of course she'd told Alexis a few of the stories -- and who remembers to swear an eight-year-old to secrecy?

Spider-Woman? Wow - missed her entirely!

This was a beautiful peace of work! We don't see nearly enough of Martha lately, so it was splendiforous to see her in action - your voice is Puuurfect ;>

As you may now have discovered via Google, Spider-Woman is a genuine Marvel character (though obviously, Seven/Ophelia's turn as the character's chronicler is imaginary). Amusingly, most of my familiarity with the character arises from a short-lived (late) '70s animated series featuring a somewhat sanitized version of Jessica Drew. I find on looking her up now that she's had a more complicated history than I realized, but I'm sure there's room in it to shoehorn in the section I've mentioned in this piece.
